Drive to Huaraz / Transfer to hotel. |

Drive to Huaraz: we drive to the bus station for the 8-hour bus ride from Lima to Huaraz. Arrive Huaraz. we check into our hotel, then head for dinner. This is a long day of sitting but the views get more rewarding as the day goes by. Continental breakfast at the hotel and lunch on the bus is included. |

In Huaraz to acclimatize to the altitude / Day hike to Macashca Hill. |

We have two days in Huaraz. we will be organize all and preparation for Alpamayo expedition.
Day Hike to Acclimatize:
Breakfast included in the hotel.
Today we get an early start and hike up to macashca hill at 4000m. A beautiful place across from the cordillera blanca . It will be a long day of walking and one that will help get our legs stronger. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight spent in Huaraz. |
