Cordillera Blanca

It’s a very popular circuit in the Cordillera Blanca because of its outstanding natural beauty and easy access. Along the trek, you can see beautiful lakes and spectacular mountains like Taulliraju; Alpamayo (the most beaufiful mountain in the world), Artesonraju and Rinrihircal. Once you have crossed the Punta Union pass at 4,750 m.a.s.l, we´ll see Huascaran ( the highest mountain in Peru), Huandoy, Yanapaccha, Pisco, Chacraraju and Chopicalqui; a variety of scenary in only 4 or 5 days.

The Cordillera Huayhuash is probably the most spectacular and beautiful of the Peruvian Andes. It has an important biodiversity owing to its altitude, ecosystem and the potential for tourism thanks to its unique beautiful scenery. It is undoubtely “a hidden treasure” and houses the second highest mountain in Peru. Unlike the Cordillera Blanca, it is practically intact because of its geographical isolation, the distance of any highway access and the locals living there who have always been particularly interested in rationalizing its wide resources.

Cusco is very well-known worlwide because it is the center of a fascinating and mysterious culture and it is also one of the wonders of the world. The pure majesty of its landscapes and the energy of its past and present converge to enchant visitors from the first day. All the areas of Cusco and, mainly, the area around the Sacred Valley of the Incas offer ideal places to practice sports. A wonderful mix of cultural features such as staying alongside friendly locals, seeing the diverse colorful traditional costumes and visiting the ruins of strategically placed forts, make Cusco a place where the adventurer has the sensation of travelling back in time and discovering ancient secrets.

Lake Titicaca at 3810 m.a.s.l. is situated on the most expensive plateau of the Tropical Andes. In various parts along its great length of 176 km.  islands emerge from depths of up to 289 m. like mountains. Its ecosystem has plants, fish and birds that have made the development of Pukaras, Aymaras, Quechuas and Uros as the creators of Andine Culture possible. Its principal port is the city of Puno which is 5 ½ hrs. from Cusco, 5 from Arequipa, 4 from Colca Canyon,  3 from La Paz in Bolivia and 8 hrs. from Tacna on the border with Chile. It is linked to the cities by paved roads with beautiful and varied views.

There are few places in the world where you can find such biodiversity. The journey becomes an opportunity to  appreciate life. Far from the city and technology you can return to a simpler life for a few days,  chatting by a logfire and listening to the murmurs of the jungle, having amazing animals as neighbors. You can escape from the daily routine and enjoy a  mysterious and exuberant place. Amazon Action Lodge is on the shore of Yanayacu river. To get there we have to travel for four hours by speedboat entering a place untouched by civilization.

Arequipa, World Cultural Heritage, has a wealth of cultural and geographical wonder. It’s located in the southeast of Peru, for this reason it has a mix of coastal and mountainous regions with a varied climate as well as beautiful beaches.
It’s called “White City” because of its white buildings made from volcanic rock. It’s a picturesque place that combines the beauty of its green countryside with  the imposing presence of volcanoes and snow-capped mountains. The city is sorrounded by three volcanoes: Misti, Chachani and PichuPichu.

Lima is the capital city of Peru as well as its biggest and most populated city. It’s located on the central coast of Peru on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. It’s a city of contrasts and colors which delights the tourist with ancient buildings, squares, churches and streets.
Visit Colonial and Modern Lima, its avenues and main streets, the wealthy zones of  San Isidro and Miraflores. There’s a view of the sea from la Costa Verde, visit the Main Square and enjoy a panoramic view of the Palacio Presidencial and City Hall.
